Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the Meghwal Setu mobile application or web platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Meghwal Setu mobile app or website, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the platform.
2. Eligibility & Account Security
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use this platform. Minors using matrimonial or educational features must do so with parent/guardian supervision and consent.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account authentication credentials.
- You are solely responsible for all activities and uploads conducted under your account.
- Account registration must use true and accurate information. Creating false identities or impersonating others is strictly prohibited.
3. Permitted & Prohibited Conduct
You agree to use Meghwal Setu exclusively for constructive, community-building, and lawful purposes.
Strictly Prohibited Activities:
- Posting false, abusive, hateful, defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful material.
- Extracting, scraping, or harvesting user data, phone numbers, or matrimonial profiles using automated bots or scripts.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting unauthorized access to server infrastructure, database APIs, or backend code.
- Bypassing or attempting to disable security rules, authentication flows, or screen protection mechanisms.
- Using the platform for spamming, unauthorized commercial solicitations, or fraudulent recruitment schemes.
4. User Content & Multi-Media Upload Guidelines
Meghwal Setu permits authorized users to upload multi-image posts, business listings, e-books/PDFs, news updates, and profile photos.
- Ownership & Rights: You represent and warrant that you own or possess all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any text, multi-image files, or PDF documents you upload.
- Content License: By submitting content, you grant Meghwal Setu a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute the content solely within app features.
- Prohibited Content: You must not upload copyrighted images/documents without permission, obscene photos, personal documents of third parties without consent, or deceptive business listings.
5. Bandhan (Matrimonial) Module Terms
- Truthful Submissions: All matrimonial profile data submitted by candidates or guardians must be accurate and consent-based.
- Privacy Protection: Contact details are private and shared ONLY upon mutual interest acceptance.
- Strict Data Protection: Capturing screenshots, downloading profile media for unauthorized distribution, or harassing registered candidates is strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate account banning and legal reporting.
- Independent Verification: Users and families are solely responsible for conducting independent background, character, and legal verifications before making matrimonial commitments.
6. Comprehensive Platform & Developer Disclaimers
Please read these disclaimers carefully. They define the scope of platform operations and protect the app development team:
6.1 Information Directory & Bridge Disclaimer
Meghwal Setu is a community information directory and digital bridge operated by Akhand Meghwal Samaj Seva Sansthan, Vav.
The platform and developer team do NOT act as an employer, recruitment agency, financial broker, marriage bureau, real estate agency, blood bank, or government authority.
6.2 Job Notifications & Non-Government Entity Disclaimer
Meghwal Setu is a private, non-governmental community application. It does NOT represent, affiliate with, or act on behalf of any government department, authority, or agency. All job notifications, recruitment updates, and exam announcements displayed in the app are aggregated for general awareness and educational purposes only from publicly available official portals (such as https://india.gov.in, https://gujarat.gov.in, https://www.ncs.gov.in, https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in).
- Users must independently verify job vacancy details, eligibility criteria, and official notification links directly from the respective government or employer portals.
- Never pay money to anyone promising job placements, interview passes, or government employment guarantees.
- The app developer and organization are NOT liable for third-party job postings, recruitment scams, unfulfilled job offers, or financial losses incurred by users.
6.3 Business Directory & Third-Party Dealings
Business listings, services, and offers are user-generated. All transactions, service agreements, payments, and communications between users and listed businesses are strictly between the respective parties at their own risk. The developer does not endorse or guarantee third-party services.
6.4 Blood Donor Directory Disclaimer
The blood donor list is a voluntary community directory. The platform does not perform medical screenings, verify donor medical history, or guarantee donor availability in emergencies. Users must consult medical professionals for blood transfusion safety.
6.5 "AS IS" & "AS AVAILABLE" Disclaimer
Meghwal Setu is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The developer does not guarantee uninterrupted service, server uptime, error-free operation, or instant sync delivery.
7. Exam & Mock Test Rules
Exams and mock test modules are provided for educational self-assessment and competitive preparation.
Any attempt to manipulate test timers, cheat using automated scripts, or falsify scores will result in immediate disqualification and account restriction.
8. Moderation, Reporting & Account Termination
We maintain zero tolerance for platform abuse. We reserve the right to:
- Review, moderate, edit, reject, or delete any listing or post that violates community guidelines.
- Suspend or permanently ban any user account involved in spam, fake profiles, harassment, or security violations without prior notice.
- Report illegal activities to appropriate legal authorities.
9. Intellectual Property Rights
All platform source code, brand assets, app logo, UI designs, feature architecture, and system graphics are owned by Akhand Meghwal Samaj Seva Sansthan, Vav and the app development team. You may not copy, re-skin, publish, or redistribute any part of the app without prior written permission.
10. Service Availability & Maintenance
We strive to maintain continuous platform availability, but scheduled maintenance, server upgrades, or third-party cloud infrastructure delays (such as Firebase or network outages) may cause temporary service interruptions.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Akhand Meghwal Samaj Seva Sansthan, Vav, its app developers, team members, and administrators shall NOT be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of:
- Your use or inability to use the platform.
- Inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in user-submitted listings, jobs, or matrimonial profiles.
- Actions, misconduct, or misrepresentations of third-party users or listed businesses.
- Data loss, device failure, or unauthorized access resulting from user negligence.
12. Account Deletion & Data Rights (24-Hour SLA)
Users have the absolute right to request complete account and data deletion at any time.
In accordance with our 24-Hour Deletion Commitment, all authentication credentials, personal profiles, Firestore records, and uploaded media are permanently purged from active servers within 24 hours of valid request confirmation.
Deletion can be requested via in-app Settings, the web deletion portal (/delete-account.html), or by emailing meghwalsetu.app@gmail.com.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes or claims arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Banaskantha / Gujarat, India.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
